The Calling
Africa is not asking to be watched. It is asking to be known.
For generations, many Afro-descendants have inherited a relationship with Africa shaped by distance, fragments and other people's descriptions. This programme creates space to encounter Burkina Faso directly — through people, place, history and everyday life.
It is structured as a jumelage: a twinning between diaspora participants and living communities. The aim is not consumption. It is recognition, exchange and the beginning of a relationship that can continue after the flight home.
